John Pizzo was named Instructional Supervisor at Pleasant Valley Elementary School in February 2020. Prior to that he worked as a secondary English teacher in the Johnson City Central School District from 2014-2020.

Pizzo earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Art in Teaching–Adolescent English Education from Binghamton University and his School Building and School District Leader Certification from Stony Brook University.

In his spare time, Pizzo likes to play hockey, travel, and spend time with his wife, Monique, anddog, Biggie.
