Prerequisite - Computer Art 1 or portfolio review by Animation teacher.

Animation 1 is one of the intermediate continuations of the sequential computer art program here at Schenectady High.  Students will receive an introductory working knowledge of animation techniques necessary to design animated sequences using the Adobe Creative Suite programs, Photoshop & Animate. Students will start off with examining the 12 Principles of Animation. Use storyboarding to help them create stories that are meaningful to their lives.  Students will be able to use these skills to explore careers in both the animation and video game industry. Students will finish out the year by creating their own computer generated image sequences, animations, that tell their stories.
