BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS

To safeguard the health of our students and staff, it is important to follow the proper procedures when dealing with incidents relating to blood-borne pathogens. Regarding cleanup, all maintenance staff have been trained and know the proper procedure to follow. School nurses have the highest level of training, regarding emergency care and clean-up. Physical education teachers and coaches are also trained in basic emergency care. All buildings should be equipped with emergency clean-up materials.
