STUDENT CODE OF CHARACTER, CONDUCT, AND SUPPORT

In accordance with Education Law Article 55, the Board of Education shall adopt and amend, as appropriate, a Code of Conduct which shall govern the conduct of students, teachers, and other school personnel as well as visitors and shall provide for the enforcement thereof.

The Schenectady City School District Board of Education will adopt a Code of Conduct that presents guidelines and provisions for the maintenance of order on school property, including provisions for disciplinary measures deemed appropriate and acceptable for inappropriate and unacceptable conduct.  Questions around the implementation of the Code of Character, Conduct, & Support may be directed to the Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services.
