GRANTS

The following is the grant procedure for the Schenectady City School District:

  • Any grant over $250 must be reviewed by the Assistant Director in the Office of Grants Development before submission using this Form

  • For any grant that is district-wide, an ELT Grant Review Form is developed and sent to the Superintendent for approval 

  • A Design Team is created by the Assistant Director in the Office of Grants Development 

  • Grant Narratives and Budget items are created in collaboration with Design Team members

  • SCSD Grant Writer completes documentation of all grant narratives, budgets, and required forms

  • Letters of support (if necessary) are secured by the Design Team.

  • Appendices are prepared by the Design Team.

  • The Assistant Director of Grants Development and Title Funding reviews the Complete Grant Application.

  • Superintendent reviews and signs the proposal application and budget documents.

  • Grant is submitted, and a copy of the completed application is filed in the Office of Grants Development in the Business Office.
