Re:                   2022 - 2023 Mandatory Staff Trainings

 

Please find below information regarding the mandatory staff trainings for the 2022-2023 school year.  This year all mandatory staff trainings are provided via the online training system Vector Solutions (formally SafeSchools). 

FOR ALL O&M staff, Paraprofessional and Teaching Assistants, Office of Climate and Safety staff (CCES, SSO & Security Monitors), and Office of Innovation, Equity & Engagement staff (Parent Liaisons), report to the Schenectady High School Auditorium on Thursday, September 1st from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and to Liberty Church at 1840 Albany Street on Tuesday, September 6th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. to complete these mandatory trainings.  Please remember to bring your Schenectady ID badge for attendance purposes.  Please note additional trainings for your employee group may be required on September 6th.  Please look for details from your principal/supervisor.

 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE ONLINE SAFESCHOOLS TRAINING SYSTEM 

1.           Using your web browser click on the below web page link: https://schenectady-ny.safeschools.com/login 

2.           To access your assigned training, enter your Distrcit login (typically last name first initial). There is no password.

3.           Click “Log Me In” 

4.           Your assigned course(s) will be listed on your personal SafeSchools Training home page under MANDATORY TRAINING. 

5.           Click on the Course to start it. 

6.           The Course(s) have audio so please make sure to turn up your speakers to access the narration. Complete all training scenarios and the assessment to receive completion credit for the course. You will have the option to complete the certificate once you successfully complete the course(s).
