WEEK ENDING NOVEMBER 22, 2022 | VOLUME 2 ISSUE NO. 14
Good afternoon,
It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is almost here. Before you head off to enjoy a few days with your loved ones, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to you.
Thank you to our faculty and staff for your unwavering commitment, dedication and all that you do each and every day for our students. You inspire, motivate, and educate and you lead with care and compassion. The work you do is not easy but you rise to the challenge and you make a difference in the lives of so many. I appreciate you.
Thank you to our parents, guardians and caregivers for sharing your children with us. Thank you for your trust and for giving us the privilege of being part of their journey. Thank you for advocating for your children and being present in their education. We are in this work together and I appreciate you.
Thank you to our students for showing up every day and bringing so much joy into our schools. I appreciate your diversity, creativity, interest, energy, empathy, voice and uniqueness. Thank you for coming into our lives and making a difference.
Thank you to our community partners. It's clear how much you care about our students, schools and community. There are so many of you who step up to the plate and remind us that you are here with us. I look forward to the work that we will be doing together as we build our community schools. We can't do this work without you. Thank you for continuing to be our partners. I am grateful for you.
Because of all of you, we are #SchenectadyRising.
I wish you a wonderful holiday. Please enjoy a fun, relaxing long weekend with those who are near and dear to you. Be grateful and stay hopeful.
In closing, B-b-b-b bird's the word.
