Obaroene Otitigbe is one of many passionate educators in our district, and we’re so grateful for him the past 6 years teaching second studio art at Schenectady High School.

Gretchen Zebrowski is our Teacher of the Week. Gretchen is one of many passionate educators in our district, and we’re so grateful for her the past 25 years teaching Pre-k at Woodlawn.

Dana Russo, a reading teacher at Howe Elementary School, is our first Passionate People Teacher of the Week. Dana is one of many passionate educators in our district, and we’re so grateful for her 25 incredible years of teaching students to become better readers.

Melissa DiGiovanni, second grade teacher at Zoller Elementary School is our Passionate People Highlighted Teacher of the Week. Since she is also a graduate of our schools, she is an example of Student and Graduate Success and Passionate People, pillars one and two of our Strategic Plan.

As part of our Strategic Plan Passionate People recognition, we are pleased to share that our highlighted teacher is Ahteras West, a first grade teacher at Pleasant Valley. Ahteras is one of many passionate educators in our district, and we’re so grateful for her dedication and commitment to our students.

We are pleased to recognize Carrie White, second grade teacher at Yates, as our highlighted teacher this week. Carrie is one of the many passionate educators in the district. She been teaching in our district for the past 19 years.
