Terrence Gillooley was named Chief Financial Officer in November 2021 and started in the district in January 2022. Prior to coming to Schenectady, he served as school business manager in the Middleburgh Central School District since 2015. Prior to that, he worked at Capital Region BOCES as a shared school business manager for Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District and Middleburgh Central School District from 2012-2015.
Gillooley worked in finance for many years. He started in 1996 at Highgate LTC Management where he worked for five years, first as a staff accountant. Within a year he was named senior accountant and then director of finance. In 2001, Gillooley began as an audit manager at Cusack and Company, a post he held for 12 years.
Gillooley is a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western New England College, a Master of Science in Education – Educational Leadership from Pace University. He also completed the School Business Officials (SBO) Leadership Academy and is a member of the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO).
