NOTE: Schenectady CSD is utilizing Computer Based Testing in ELA and Math and Science
ALL Principals: please ensure you have access to the NYSED portal if your position is new – information for that process will be shared when the Testing Calendar is sent out through NERIC in September.
Online ordering/requests for all Grades 3-8 ELA and Mathematics Tests must be submitted mid-December each year - per NYSED guidelines.
When requesting CBT, it is important to only submit requests for grade levels in your school; associated with your building's BEDS code. Please do not submit requests for grade levels located at another school in your district that has a different BEDS code.
The Grades 3-8 Mathematics Tests will be available in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Haitian Creole, Korean, Russian, and Spanish in PBT format. Five of these languages will also be available for the Mathematics Tests in CBT format: Chinese (Simplified), Haitian Creole, Korean, Russian, and Spanish.
The Grade 4 and Grade 8 Science Tests will be available in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Haitian Creole, Korean, Russian, and Spanish.
