ALERT: All after-school and evening athletics and activities are cancelled today!
We are open today and running on time.
At last night’s Board of Education meeting, families, students, and staff from
Hamilton Elementary School and Hammy the mascot, were recognized with a Peoples Choice Award for their float and song during the Holiday Parade.
They brought some pretty cool swag to the board.
ALUMNI PROFILE: Elizabeth Mattice, a 2018 graduate of Schenectady High School, currently works as a municipal design engineer in Syracuse. She credits science labs, field trips & projects sparking her interest in engineering.

Bridge Whiz is a free online class for children beginning to learn Bridge. Classes are filling up now, sign up before January 17, 2023 at BridgeWhiz.org.
RISE HIGH is a program for Schenectady City youth where participants learn about STEM and other skills, in a fun and nurturing environment.
Students will be exposed to a wide variety of careers in technology and hands-on, experiential learning.
Last night we had a great meeting with college partners about University-Assisted Community Schools. We are grateful to everyone who is stepping up to partner with us in this work. It takes all of us. More to come on our community schools soon. #SchenectadyRising
