Our second annual monster project has begun! 🎨 Our high school ceramics students are shaping clay creatures based on drawings from one lucky elementary school's 1st graders. The high schoolers will gift over 80 monsters to the young artists in May. Way to go students!

This morning we learned that a threat to shoot a school was posted on TikTok last night. No SCSD schools were named. Sch'dy Police identified where the threat came from& who made the threat. A 13-year old was arrested & charged.

Students at Central Park Middle School in Family and Consumer Sciences made over 60 sustainable dog toys as part of their teamwork unit, using only recycled materials like donated clothing. These toys were then donated to the Animal Protection Foundation. Great job students! ♻️
