On October 4, 2023 the Schenectady City School District Board of Education passed a new grading policy for all students. This policy was heavily influenced by national experts such as Joe Feldman, Tom Guskey, and input from district teachers and administrators. We are offering three opportunities for you to come and learn about the new policy and its impact on teacher grading. Come watch a video featuring Schenectady teachers and Joe Feldman (author of the book Grading for Equity) as they explain the improvements we have been making on grading at SCSD. Your will also have an opportunity to ask questions to members of the Office of Teaching and Learning.
