On Thursday, May 30, 2024, Oneida Middle School students attended the Dinos Alive: An Immersive Experience at the Armory in downtown Schenectady. Students explored the exhibit through the lens of a paleontologist, took field notes, and asked and answered critical questions about the Jurassic era. Students enjoyed walking alongside life-sized moving replicas of creatures that roamed our world millions of years ago and participated in a VR (virtual reality) experience to better understand the dense jungles and to see dinosaurs in their natural habitat.
