Hello! The Mont Pleasant gas leak repair is still underway with no estimated time of completion. Therefore, the Mont Pleasant/Oneida Summer Enrichment Program will again be held at Pleasant Valley tomorrow Friday, July 12th. All SEP MPMS and OMS students should report to Pleasant Valley. Hola! 📸Students in our NYGEAR UP program had an opportunity to experience College life by staying on campus at Ithaca College. Students toured nearby Cornell University, took a hike to Taughannock Falls, and learned how to create apps using the MadLearns platform.

Hey there Timberwolf Families: Due to the extreme temperatures our 6th grade field day has been changed from Thursday June 20th to the morning of June 25th, which is a half day of school. With temperatures rising to the high 90’s in the coming days, it is important to be safe in the heat. Heat exhaustion and heatstroke is serious, it is crucial to stay hydrated by drinking water and electrolytes, seek shade and wear light colored, loose-fitting clothing. This also goes for your pets. Keep them in cool areas, ensure they have enough water to drink and do not leave them in cars, even for a quick trip into a store. Also, check on your elderly neighbors and family members as they are more susceptible to heat-related issues. Individuals with conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and respiratory issues may experience worsened symptoms in high heat. Attention 8th graders and families: Due to the extreme weather conditions this week, the district is reducing our school schedule to half days on Tuesday and Thursday. Therefore, we cannot hold our 8th grade Dinner Dance as planned. We would still like to celebrate our 8th graders and will instead hold a catered luncheon on Tuesday, June 25th during the half day school day. Unfortunately, due to time constraints of the end of the year, we are unable to hold the dance. Atención alumnos de 8vo grado y familias: Debido a las condiciones climáticas extremas de esta semana, el distrito reducirá nuestro horario escolar a medio día los martes y jueves. Por lo tanto, no podemos llevar a cabo nuestra Cena-Baile de octavo grado como estaba planeado. Aún nos gustaría celebrar a nuestros estudiantes de 8º grado y, en su lugar, celebraremos un almuerzo con servicio de catering el martes 25 de junio durante el medio día escolar.
