Winter weather is here! Please make sure that your child has cold weather gear to wear to school such as a winter coat, boots, gloves, hats and scarves. It is best to make sure these items are labeled with your child’s name. If you are in need of any winter gear items, please contact Gomattie Dubaria, Parent Liaison, dubariag@schenectadyschools.org or (838) 433 - 9346 and we will try to get these items to you as soon as possible.

Code Blue 🚨 Schenectady County has declared Code Blue tonight (Friday, January 5) through Monday, January 8, at 8:00 a.m., as temperatures are forecasted to be below freezing. When a Code Blue is declared, the County’s homeless shelters extend their hours of operation to allow those who need shelter to remain indoors during inclement winter weather. We will be offering a STEAM camp for students in grades 1-5 during the February recess. While that is a few months away, we are asking, if you are interested, to sign your child up by January 19. Community Information 📰 The New Choices Prevention Team is ready for a new round of Strengthening Families, starting Wednesday February 7th . This is an interactive, 12 week program that allows parents/caregivers to spend special time with their youth and have fun together. The program provides space for skill building, creativity, fun, valuable quality time together, family meals, peer interactions and more. Winter Festival & Movie Night, December 21st starting at 4pm! ❄️🐼 🎥 🍿 We are looking forward to seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus! There will be cookies and milk/juice, letter writing to Santa, making of a gingerbread house, music and more! Following the Winter Festival will be Movie Night!
