Today Grades 3-5 went to the Rotterdam Square Cinema to see Dog Man. This trip encourages a love of reading by seeing the words come to life, boosts creativity (encourages students to think creatively), promotes positive themes (the series emphasizes kindness, teamwork and resilience), connects reading to real-life experiences and engages in different learning styles.

PBIS Character Trait of the Month: Patience. This month, our Paige Pandas 🐼 will practice being patient. When you do this you are showing calm self-control and waiting with a happy heart Patience is an important life skill that helps children learn to cope with stress, regulate emotions, and handle challenging situations. There are many age-appropriate ways to teach and practice this skill. Consider playing games, using a sand timer, increasing wait times, and modeling the behavior you want them to demonstrate.
