Dear Parents and Guardians of SHS students,
Please review the 23-24 Code of Character, Conduct, & Support and acknowledge that you will work with your child and the school team to ensure adherence to the expectations outlined in it. Please remind your child to return the signed acknowledgement form to their SHS Leadership Community Office. The full Code of Character, Conduct, and Support can be found electronically on the district website, or by using the QR code below, or you may request a hard copy from your child's school.

The SHS Humanities, Communications, & Advocacy Leadership Community is pleased to announce a unique opportunity for students who are passionate about dance and social justice to collaborate with Create A Space NOW! Selected students will rehearse and perform in an original piece alongside professional dancers to utilize art as platform for change. See the flyer below to sign up for auditions on September 9!
The SHS STEM Leadership Community will be spearheading the effort to bring students from all Leadership Communities to "Touch a Truck Career Day" at National Grid. We will be transporting upto 80 students to National Grid's Schenectady Barn at 734 Broadway. This will be a fun day where students can learn more about a Career at National Grid. Interested students should please fill out this form. We will email students who are accepted so that they can pick up a permission slip on 9.8.23. Students will have to log into their Google account to fill out this form:

SHS Freshman Orientation is September 5, 2023 from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at the high school! We hope to see all our new 9th graders and their families for this exciting event! Students will see their class schedules, visit classrooms, find their lockers, and meet their teachers!
